Our world traveller has set foot in Serbia, a small Balkan country in central-east part of Europe. With a population of just over 7 million and land size similar to that of Tasmania, Serbia is the bread basket of Europe with an agricultural potential of supporting 200 million of people.

85% of Serbians are Christian Orthodox. At the moment, the watch is visiting the town of Sremska Mitrovica, built on foundations of the ancient Roman city of Sirmium, first mentioned in the 4th century BC and which later, due to its cross roads location, was known as the 4th largest city of the Roman Empire.

Serbs enjoy good food made from fresh home grown produces, cold winters and hot summers and their national drink rakija, plum brandy. Today, our travelling watch is exploring sunflower and wheat fields in the north-western part of Serbia.
