Our traveller visited two cities Aktau and Atyrau in Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan is located in Central Asia. It is the world's largest landlocked country by land area and the ninth largest country in the world. The country is also the richest in Central Asia, due to its large oil and natural gas reserve.

Aktau city is situated in southwestern Kazakhstan, to the east of Caspian sea. The word 'Aktau' means "white mountain" in Kazakh, but it is a very young city that has little to do with historical Kazakhstan.

The city of Atyrau is located at the mouth of the Ural River. It is famous for its oil and fish industries.
