Guernsey, officially the Bailiwick of Guernsey, is an island in the English Channel off the coast of Normandy. It is technically not a part of the United Kingdom, but is part of the British monarchy. Divided into 12 parishes, the island houses approximately 65,345 residents.

Visiting the island diamond museum we see two local renowned jewellers, Jeff and Martin, very excited to be a part of the world travellerís journey. Avid watch aficionados, they both wear two watches each, all day, every day. If you're ever in the area you can visit them at Ray & Scott Jewellers.

A commemoration stone was laid at the border of the Vale and St Sampson parishes. The island of Guernsey used to be two islands before the middle was filled with land 400 years ago on that spot. It's commonly called the "Bridge" because of this, even though there is actually no bridge.

Guernsey Electricity is the sole supplier of electricity to Guernsey, and has been doing so for over 100 years. Keeping up with changing technology, the company now also imports electricity from the mainland, giving better environmental benefits to the island. Pictured here is our host along with Brian Thorburn, both of whom work at the company.
